The Namibian Squash Association was initially founded as the South West Africa Squash Rackets Association many years ago. Unfortunately, due to some records being lost over the years, the exact date is no longer known.
With the independence of Namibia in 1990, the association was renamed to the Namibian Squash Rackets Association, or NASRA, as it then became known, in April 1990. In line with the global trend it was subsequently changed to the Namibian Squash Association in 1995.
The association remain committed to the expansion of the sport and to ensure sustainable growth through the development of players, coaches and referees through various initiatives.
